Biosketch:
Margaret A. Potter, MS, JD
is at the University of Pittsburgh holding positions in the Graduate School of Public Health as Associate Dean & Director of the Center for Public Health Practice, Co-Director for Preparedness Policy in the Center for Public Health Preparedness, and Associate Professor of Health Policy & Management; and as Co-Director of the University's Center for National Preparedness.  Her recent and current projects include:  assessment of training effectiveness for emergency operations response by the public health workforce; development and application of an integrated approach to needs assessment, curriculum design, delivery and evaluation of workforce training; strategic capacity building within the public health system; and development of models for financing public health programs at the state and local levels.
