Education: J.D., Harvard Law School. | Position: Professor of Health Law (Emeritus), Department of Health Policy & Management Secondary Appointment as Professor of Health Law in Behavioral & Community Health Sciences Adjunct Appointment, School of Law Faculty Advisor, JD/MPH Program Research Interests: Health organization governance, practitioner-organization relationships. Biosketch: Nathan Hershey, a graduate of New York University (1950) and the Harvard Law School (1953), holds membership in the Pennsylvania bar. He co-authored the Hospital Law Manual, Human Experimentation and The Law (1976), and Hospital-Physician Relationships: Case Studies and Commentaries on Medical Staff Problems (1982), and edits the Hospital Law Newsletter. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, has served as President of the American Academy of Healthcare Attorneys (1972), and has been listed continuously in The Best Lawyers in America since 1993.
