HPM Alumni:
Please
join me in congratulating Tom Priselac, ’75 alum, as he is installed as the
next Chair of the American Hospital Association on April 26th. In
addition to being president and chief executive officer of Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center in Los Angeles, Tom serves on the National Advisory Committee
for the Health Policy and Management Department at GSPH. He is also the
immediate past Executive in Residence for the program.
Tom is
the second GSPH alumnus to become Chair of the American Hospital Association.
David Reed, ’61 alum, served in this position in 1990. David, prior to his
retirement in 1995, was the chief executive officer of University of
Cincinnati, Lenox Hill Hospital, Samaritan Health Services and St. Joseph
Health System. David also serves on the National Advisory Committee for the
Health Policy and Management Department.
As you
know, many Health Policy and Management graduates lead major health care
institutions around the country. We are very proud of the successes of our
graduates!
